Work Hard...Play Hard

After a long day being in-doors and working without complaining, I decided it was a good time to head to the creek.  We had rain the night before and the creek was higher {not too high} than normal.  The water was murky which was nice for me because I couldn't see all the crawdads scurrying away with every step I took.  Once our legs were numb with the ice cold water, it was a blast!

Baby girl LOVES the water.

Jack was very unsure at first, but once he realized that he was safe, all was well.

Sam enjoyed picking up big rocks and throwing them to make a big splash.

Here are the girls walking upstream after they rode the currents down.  Large inter-tubes are now on our garage sale list.

Last night we talked about all the animals we saw and or held that day.  Lillie had quite a list; frog and a toad, a gardener snake, an adult and baby turtle.  Bailie had caught a salamander yesterday while we were picking up sticks over at the camp.

Have I ever told you how blessed we feel to be able to serve and live here on this beautiful property?
