Christmas Doings

This year we didn't do as much baking as I had hoped to.  But I did make sure and document our baking day with a few pictures.  Mom had us over and we made some soft peanut brittle.  It was very yummy and didn't break our teeth when we took a bite. :)

This is the best part of baking!!!

Resting time with Grandma after our hard work. :)

Jack and Sam were pretending they were dogs and eating peanuts out of their bowls.  Too funny!!!

This year Bailie was in a giving mood.  She wanted to make everyone she knew a gift.  We finally convinced her that making gifts for her closest family members was going to take much effort.  She knitted daddy, mommy, Rylie and Jack a scarf.  She knitted approximately 10 washrags and she made (with only a tiny bit of my help) some goodies for 8 ladies that are special to her.

She made Citris Sugar Scrub and Holiday Potpourri.  She was so blessed to be able to give her handmade gifts away.  It just goes to show that it is better to give than receive (Acts20:35).

Handmade gifts are the best! They take time and are made with a lot of love. I always enjoy making the tags and wrapping them to give them that personal touch. Your gifts look beautiful.

Soft peanut brittle....who knew there was such a thing. :) I'll have to gather the boys and make some this weekend. I usually don't make it because it's soooo hard.

Nice to see you all,

Kim
