Creek Fun

With two extra hands on Thursday, we decided to head down to the creek for some
exploring.  Every step we took crawdads were swimming away.  Jack wasn't interested in getting in the water.  He finally let Jessica, his first cousin, put him down on some rocks.
Maddie fell asleep in Bridget's arms.  It must of been the gently sounds of the water rushing.  Rylie caught a minnow and Lillie caught a baby crawdad.  We were in such a hurry to get down to the creek that we forgot to bring our buckets to fill.
We then came back up to the house and took a dip in the pool. We feel so blessed to have a creek in our back yard, yet we don't use it as much as we should.

Thank you girls for your extra hands and helping to create a special memory for our children.

My daugther ( 11) and I look to your lovely pictures. We haven't such creeks in our land. It is not deep, I think? Great for smaller children. And moms. In the summer we often go to a (little/small)lake near here. ( 20 minutes with car) But when the weather weeks very hot we can't swim there. Then there is botulism.

Greetings from me and my daughter! We like your blog.
