What is a home?

"Happy the home when God is there,
And love fills every breast;
When one their wish, and one their prayer,
And one their heavenly rest.
Happy the home where Jesus' Name
Is sweet to every ear;
Where children early lisp His fame,
And parents hold Him dear.
Happy the home where prayer is heard,
And praise is wont to rise;
Where parents love the sacred Word
That makes us truly wise.
Lord, let us in our homes agree,
This blessed peace to gain;
Until our hearts in love to Thee,
And love to all will reign."
Henry Ware, 17-94-1843

"Home is among the holiest of words.  A true home is one of the most sacred of places.  It is a sanctuary into which men flee from the world's perils and alarms.  It is a resting-place to which at close of day the weary retire to gather new strength for the battle and toils of tomorrow.  It is the place where love learns its lessons, where life is schooled into discipline and strength, where character is molded."
J.R, Miller 1840-1912

"Home is where each lives for the other and all live for Christ"

These are obtainable goals to have while building a home.  Don't become discouraged if your home isn't yet what you desire it to be.  'He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" Philippians 1:6.  Be Confident and Stand Firm!

Of course I am enjoying the reading...and you are a great writer! Each one of your children bear a resemblence of you in one way or the other I can see glimpses of their mommy and daddy in them all, what I think makes them sooo beautiful!!
